If at first you don't succeed... I have lost coun If at first you don't succeed...

I have lost count of the number of times I have been here to try and get this shot. To get dense fog and a high cloud sky at sunrise is a pretty rare thing.

Today it all came together with the fog billowing out of the Hawkesbury river around Barrenjoey headland you can just see the lighthouse poking out the top. A memorable morning.

The zodiacal light is thought to be caused by sunlight reflecting off dust and ice crystals floating within our solar system and can be seen as a "cone" of bright sky reaching up from the horizon in the West after sunset.

It's amazing to watch this little star zoom across the sky and think that there are people up there looking down on us...what a view!
